Why do girls wear lipstick/lipgloss?

just wondering why girls like to wear lipstick and lipgloss...and why is it that guys dont wear anyWhy do girls wear lipstick/lipgloss?
My high school English teacher used to say that girls wore make-up to make-up for what they don't have, lol. I wear it because I think it is pretty and to keep my lips soft.Why do girls wear lipstick/lipgloss?
When their lips get dry a lot of girls think that chapstick isn't enough so they like to put on stuff that sparkles or shines. Plus, to be honest, I've noticed a (minor) difference in where girls where chapstick or lipgloss.. I(a girl) like wearing lipgloss just because it makes me look a little better, and because it smells good.


And only drag queens where lip gloss. It just.. it's just a feminine thing, like skirts and perfume and things like that.
They wear it to make their lips look nice :D


Guys don't wear lipstick for the same reason they don't wear any other makeup..They think it looks gay.


I think guys should all wear makeup though. Why can girls look good and guys can't?

It is also moisturizing and other girls think you're popular.
Girls think guys think its HOT and normally guys like the flavor after a kiss...and as for guys...that would just b weird. Lip gloss is made for girls.
Girls wear it to make their faces appear bright and fresh looking. If guys wore it, then that would just look silly. Any form of makeup on them looks silly.
Because red/pink lips are reminiscent of a woman's private parts when she's turned on.
lip gloss is just gross looking and lipstick shouldn't be worn in dark shades.


and guys are supposed to men, not little prettied sissies.
girl wear it to make our lips look shiny and so our lips aren't chapped.


i have no idea why guys don't wear it though.
because it will look gay on a guy.... lol.


and we wear just to make out lips look glossy and shiny.
I don't know. I hate lip gloss. It's too sticky and looks fake.
to feel prettier, give their looks more class, maybe attract guys... lol. any of those areas.
umm because lipgloss/lipstick is for girls
it's a girl thing. we like make up and stuff like that, but guys could care less.
guys dont need their lips to be pink %26amp; shiny.
