i don't know what color she wears, but, if you want a very nice red, try clinique angel red, it's one of the BEST reds out there, you can even google it and see for yourself. Other great reds are MAC's ruby woo.
Remember, red lipstick is tricky. You have to go by your skintone. If you have pink undertones, they go for reds that are pinkish red/blue red, if you have yellow undertones, you would look better in reds with a tinge of orange in them.
Angel red, ruby woo pretty much look good on everyone.
Oh also NARS gipsy is pretty too if you want to shell out $24 LOL
Remember whatever red lipstick you wear try to find a matching red lipliner, this prevents the red lipstick from ';bleeding'; outside your lipline.
